Gulf Shores Beach House
It’s Spring of 2006 and you’ve just come in from the beach in the mid afternoon. You’ve been out swimming and sunning all day - your hair smells like salt, your skin smells like tanning oil. Everyone is still at the beach, but you’ve got the whole beach house to yourself for the briefest moment.
Later, you’ll take a shower in the gloriously appointed seashell bathroom, slather your sunburn in aloe, and throw a cotton sundress over heat-stroked skin and waltz yourself into your 6 o’clock reservation at the finest seafood shack on the strip to watch the sunset and sip a cocktail with an umbrella and way too much mint garnish.
This is not a “sweet” suntan-lotion type of coconut or beach fragrance. It is fresh, coastal with a hint of unsweetened coconut milk and light white florals. Throw is on the lighter side, scent-wise, but will still fill an open-concept space”
Top notes : orange blossom, coconut, jasmine & tuberose
Mid notes : sandalwood, tonka bean
Base notes : cashmere & driftwood
