Seeing the typewriter poets on Frenchmen Street was one of the first things that made New Orleans feel like home to me. And the cafes they inhabit remind me of the artsy, bohemian coffee shops we grew up with in the 90’s. Before the tech bros ruined the scene. (Can anything be sacred?!) You’ll feel like you just walked into the Life Cafe, or the Witches Brew.
